Learn vintage 6-beat jive - great for rock'n'roll and for rhythm'n'blues. We will teach you how to stay cool when the rhythm is hot and how to be a flash cat when the music is really jumpin'. We teach American Jive, often described as Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing. It was super cool in the age a Elvis, it had a huge revival later in the 20th century and just keeps going strong. Beware of modern versions – learn the authentic style of freestyle Jive. Debra began teaching Jive way back in 1990 even before partnering with John. They enjoy using their combined experience to bring out the potential for fun in each of their Jive students.
Each week starts with complete beginners and revision before spending some time adding one or two intermediate ideas to stretch this who have been attending for a while.
Weekly Lindy Hop Classes from 7.00 to 8.15 pm
